Anxiety & Overthinking

Do you ever feel like your mind just won't give you a break?

Perhaps you spend ages replaying conversations, wondering if you said the wrong thing or worrying about what someone might think of you. You might find yourself imagining everything that could go wrong, even when there's no obvious reason to worry.

Maybe you're someone who appears to have everything under control. You get on with work, look after everyone else and do what needs to be done. But underneath it all, you're constantly on edge, overthinking decisions or finding it difficult to properly relax.

Anxiety isn't always obvious. Sometimes it's a racing heart or that horrible feeling of dread in your stomach. Other times, it's the constant need for reassurance, avoiding situations that make you uncomfortable or feeling like you can never quite switch off.

In therapy, we can explore what's behind your anxiety, the patterns that might be keeping it going and how it's affecting your everyday life. Rather than simply focusing on managing the symptoms, we'll also look at what might be driving them, helping you develop a greater understanding of yourself and different ways of responding.
